CCAPS provides educational consulting services in the State of Texas. We are
committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and students in compliance with
the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), the Family Educational Rights
and Privacy Act (FERPA), and Texas Education Code § 32.151.
2. Categories of Data Collected
We collect the following categories of personal data:

ï‚· Educational Records: Transcripts, test scores, and disciplinary records (when acting
as a "school official" under FERPA).
ï‚· Sensitive Data: We do not process sensitive data (e.g., precise geolocation, biometric
data) without your prior explicit consent.
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your data exclusively for items related to coaching or consulting your
institution depending on the terms help support.
ï‚· Providing educational consulting and advisory services.
ï‚· Fulfilling contractual obligations with Texas school districts.
ï‚· Improving our educational tools and resources.
ï‚· Prohibition: We do not use student data for targeted advertising, non-educational
profiling, or commercial purposes.

6. Student Data Protections (FERPA & Texas Ed Code)
ï‚· School Official Exception: When we handle student records, we act as a "school
official" with a legitimate educational interest under FERPA.
ï‚· Data Deletion: We will delete student data within 60 days of a request from a school
district or parent, unless legal retention is required.
ï‚· Security: We maintain reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect
"covered information" as defined by Texas Education Code § 32.151.
7. How to Exercise Your Rights
